Dear CN forum members,
Being an IF debutante I honestly don't know the forum rules and regulations properly, hence, a bit apprehensive whether this post is valid or not. But, this is my earnest attempt to step out of the invisibility of a regular reader of your posts and convey my admiration and amazement for you through a dedicated post.
I know virtual world is a weird place to connect considering the ambiguity of a person's true identity(for valid security reasons); my cryptic username bears that testimony. Still I would at least say that being a 38-years old, part-time homemaker and professional and full -time mother to a 3-years old boisterous boy, life can be edgy.
Even TV viewing becomes a challenge with little one demanding for cartoon channels else labeling resemblance of cartoon characters in regular programs (read, Amatya Rakshash prospects as pirate uncle for his hairstyle!!😕). National Geographically-inclined husband's sarcasm-laden questions like do-the-swans-in-the-bedroom-pool-interrupt-CN- at-night don't help either(as if I am the night guard or set designer! really??😡).
So, a laptop is my safe resort. And I never imagined forum threads centering on a daily soap will surpass the program itself in terms of its creative substance and entertainment value.
@ sashashyam - !!!!!!!!!!...probably these punctuation marks serve better to reflect my excitement than any other word in my vocabulary. Whoa!! You are a revelation, in every sense of the word. It is a common notion that content and substance is considered the most frivolous words in the world of daily soaps where twist and turn is driven by TRP. Yet, here you are. I have never ever read such a post-episode analysis containing painstaking details on characterizations, dissection of probable scenarios and perspectives. The elaborations are always succinct and concise. Your exceptional and impeccable command over language, articulate writing style is a lesson to me as a content designer professional and as a learner in general. You often mention your age and the nudging of related ailments but believe me they are subjugated by the dexterity of your thoughts and the nimble fingers that craft such well-formatted posts. I see you are a beloved akka, periyamma, didi, aunty to everyone. Consider one more admirer from Kolkata, in my language a loving Atmaja, with deep regards and love.(eve while writing this I am intimidated thinking if I have made mistakes)
@Avanatika1115, @ ShubhaR, @ Sadhbhala, @aishwish, @krithikaRao @ k.taddy 1234 @jayaks02 @skamunugama, @pinky_ rajatfan- you guys are a reader's roller coaster delight. In one thread if you are discussing grave issues like women's marital rights, at the same time your quirky banter sprinkled with equally hilarious emoticons make my day. Please trust me when I say that there are times when I have missed the episodes but I make sure to read your posts and boy do they not leave me in splits --from dadi jokes to wink wink messages for the leading man!!
@amina1, Munni_rajatfan, @ AJSharma79 I read your posts with equal zeal
@shailusri1983, @ Shinning_Stuti.. you are a perfect example of how to channelize your thoughts in most constructive and creative manner. Even I also dwell in these thoughts all day long in line of "yun hota toh kaisa hota"..but you aptly put them in words producing literary marvels. Keep weaving thoughts, keep writing, keep creating literary gems.
@siva06 your updates are a wonderful balance of facts and opinion. News channel s should learn a lesson or two from you
@poulami you are a savior when any search related to CN videos lead to innumerable "URL blocked" messages.
My only lament would be that in this age social media platforms are barometer of people/audience/viewer's psyche. Political parties to production houses-some even maintain teams to keep a tab on reactions. Is it possible that no one from EK's team ever visit these sites to see such valuable and significant points made about the down-the-hill track and wonderful suggestion to revive it??
I would sign off for now saying Chandra Nandini has all the settings to emerge as great entertainer- a grand production, historical backdrop and most importantly a blessed actor in Rajat Tokas. In telly world where rolling eyes and glaring facial caricatures are passed off as acting skills, Mr.Tokas is pure bliss and welcome relief. I hope and pray may he be blessed with better tracks in this serial and others in future.
