Pathetic! The ultimate butchering of chandra and chanakya's characters

Ok! I get it. Chanakya was a great man with a great mind ad a guide and guru for chanakya. But why on earth is chandragupta being made to seem so dependent on chanakya and useless in both political and war matters without his guidance and advice? Is ekta trying to tell us that chandragupta was nothing without chanakya and all the great conquests he did are actually credited to chanakya? Chandragupta maurya has been reduced to nothing but a teacher's pet who needs guidance in every step and can't think for himself, and chanakya has been reduced to a tactiful, shrewd and over-controlling man who is vengeance-obsessed and is manipulative. Would the real chanakya have ever dared to interfere in chandragupta's personal life or stop him from having one? I don't think so. The same woman who made jodha akbar could not have made this mess of a show.
