I am very pleased that you survived this overlong post, actually enjoyed it so much, and that we were of the same mind almost right thru it . Thanks a lot.

I was specially interested to see the list of the parts you liked the best. Where is your post on Roopa?

One thing, my dear, please do not call me Mam. I have been called Ma'am for all 38 years of my official existence, and I am tired of it! Aunty would be the best for you, seeing that you are very much younger than I am.

Yes, that keeda scene was vaguely reminiscent of Mohini, but thankfully, Nandini is not given to accusing her lord and master of ashobhaniya vyavahaar. That scene in Jodha Akbar literally got my goat,😡 and my commentary on it was scathing.

Beach - Breeze and sudden dark clouds to storms last time.

Long unwinding roads this time. 👏 I almost started imagining the Kodai, Ooty roads . It felt I was hitting right, left and the hairpin bend when I was reading it - You realize how powerful your writing is ? The roads are in front of my eyes. And I suddnely felt the pain near my eyebrows for having walked and hit the glass door. AHHH !!!

I will come back for more because I have to watch Part 2 scenes once again now with PAUSE and seeing your posts in between.

Thank you for the post Akka . First one has been written in Express speed never missing a detail not withstanding the clarification part 😉 , it is an incredible summary version of 2 weeks. AWESOME !!!

I LOVED YOUR TITLE AND THE APT ANALOGY. SEEING THE EPISODES WAS REALLY AKIN TO A JOURNEY ON A WINDING ROAD. EXCEPT, I FELT MORE LIKE TRAVELLING ON A STATE ROADWAYS BUS IN THE HILLS 😆, WITH AN INEBRIATED DRIVER STEERING IT

THE SCRIPT WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE, AS WERE EMOTIONS OF THE CHARACTERS. THE THREAD OF LOGIC WAS CONSPICUOUSLY MISSING, BUT AS YOU HAVE RIGHTLY SAID, SOME CHANDRA NANDINI SCENES MADE IT WORTHWHILE TO WATCH

WHAT CAN I ADD TO SUCH A BEAUTIFUL RENDITION, AUNTY!!! IT IS JUST PERFECT. YOU HAVE DESCRIBED EACH SCENE IN TOTALITY

IN THESE EPISODES I NOTICED, AGAIN AND AGAIN, HOW WELL RAJAT USES HIS EYES AND HIS VOICE TO IMPROVE HIS PERFORMANCE. AND SOMES SCENES LIKE THE DIYA SCENE ON THE TERRACE, AND THE PACKING SCENE WERE HANDLED SO BEAUTIFULLY THAT MOST OF THE OTHER CRAPPY SCENES ALMOST SEEMED SURREAL

I ALSO AGREE WHEN YOU SAY THAT SHWETA'S NANDINI IS A GREAT EFFORT, WHILE HER ROOPA SEEMS A BIT OTT. THE TWIN SISTERS THAT SHE PLAYED IN MAKDEE WERE FAR MORE SUBTLY DIFFERENTIATED

AND I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THE THAI SOWING FESTIVAL, SO THAT WAS A REVELATION. SOMEHOW I WASNT TOO PERTURBED BY DAADI REMOVING DURDHARA FROM THE CHIEF QUEEN MIX. EKTA LOGIC 😆

I TOO LOOK FORWARD TO THE ROYAL COUPLE IN THE VILLAGE SCENE

That is a very interesting comparison, Sri. I have not seen either film, but Kamal must have been excellent.

I am waiting to see if anyone else picks up on my hatke take on Roopa, but I am really pleased that it found favour with you.

I was reminded of the bad Kamal Hassan telling the good one in Alavandan ( Abhay in Hindi) . What if we both had exchanged our places some years back ? You will be behind bars now.

It is one of the most piercing dialogues of Aaalvandan.
