Chandra Nandini's well crafted promos showed a lot of promise, but very soon, viewers realised that while Rajat Tokas delivered fabulously, SBP was a big let down.

Not only is Nandini's characterisation very weak, the actress is very limited too.

She has a handful of expressions for any & every scene: biting of lower lip, gritting of teeth, swallowing, (of gritted enamel, perhaps 😉), & popping her eyeballs literally out of their sockets!!

Even worse is her crying & wailing...she does it extremely horrendously & needs to work on it.

The promos had suggested that she has a good voice with good voice modulation. She should use that as an asset, n work on bringing in more expressions & variety in her acting.

Come on, SBP...buck up while you can...all is not yet lost...you were good in today's episode...maybe you can still do it!...All the best 👍🏼

I was drawn to this show due to the amazing chemistry that I saw b/w RT and SBP even before the show started. The promos were really well done and SBP was good in expressing her emotions in those 30 sec short promos.

I was rooting for CN from the start (despite the weird story-lines/scenes the cvs show sometimes), but I'll kinda agree with you about Shweta's acting. I don't think she is a bad actress but I feel the cvs didn't write her character properly. There is a major disconnect in her characterisation. In one scene, she is fantasizing about killing CGM and in another, she is grovelling for something.

I think the cvs can't make up their mind whether they want to show her as a strong warrior princess type character who can stand her ground in front of adversaries (which the cvs hinted in the promos) or they want her as a docile character who keeps crying and pleading (something which the cvs think will/might fetch trps)

So hoepfully they make the characterization of N coherent. Maybe Shweta is doing the best with the material that is given to her.

this show is only 2 months old and since sweta has made a comeback after a really long period so I was actually not expecting some top notch performances by this actress in the starting itself.. We actually had more chandra scenes since the starting compared to nandini scenes.. So i will not blame the actress or criticise a lot regarding her acting skills.. She is actually a good looking girl with big big fair eyes and she looks good with Rajat onscreen as a couple..

Inspite of trying hard not to criticise the show for any reason and wait for some more time to see under what circumstances love story starts and how the storyline shapes up then, I will agree with you on certain true facts..

No fault to the director or script regarding expression issues.. However poor the script may be, shweta's expressions has been literally too poor in certain scenes like showing anger.. now this angry scenes are going to continue for a long time.. so she needs to work hard and improve a lot.. especially in the portion where she grits or gulps down the lump in her throat or show terrible anger or hatred towards chandra.. these scenes are too poor and not to neglect her crying scenes... I dont know whether that is her quality of putting up an emotional scene or she is intentionally trying to be too natural..?? I mean the heroine crying and shouting like that does not look too good..

she can sob or shed buckets of tears but what is the need to choke everytime and shout like a crazy fellow.. It does not suit typical hindi serial FLs, who are expected to be perfect from every angle and look beautiful even in a crying scene😆😆

anyways I will still stick to my point that I dont have any problem or complaint against sweta's acting.. just happy with the story and impressed with the cast..😳 every major character is acting well..

they r confused that 2 BIG TIME . they are spoiling Nandini's character coz of their stupidity ..they themselves dont know how they want to show Nandini 😡

v cant blame any actor/actress . each actors have their own limits ..their own style. they will learn n improve with time .

if v c any top actors performance in their debut show ..v can make out they r raw n immature ..they learnt it with time and experience.

every actors need time atleast few to settle down n carry that character ...some do it fast n some r slow learners .

sometime even if actors r 2 gd n script is weak .it spoils the whole show n if v have many examples for that be it in films or telly !!

Even I think bashing any actor is not proper...& Also against IF rules...but there's a difference between bashing & criticising...this is a discussion forum, NOT any actor's fan page 😃

Yes, CVs are most definitely a big let down...yet Rajat is managing to perform in this pathetic storyline too...

I for one, had high hopes from SBP, particularly after the s uper stylish promos, & her history of a National Award as a child artist...but she has only disappointed so far...

I sincerely hope that SBP is able to work upon her acting & limitations ...& I also hope that the CVs are able to keep her characterisatiob consistent, if nothing else...
