What could be the reason of the lie.

Since Tara is the female lead. The makers must show some solid reason of telling the lie.. What u think it can be?

Is it about his father?

As we duscussed in our previous chat It is about saving Deva from Dieing. Little Tara must have thought that if she will lie Deva will be kicked away but not killed by her elders So she told the lie. Since she was a child she didn’t realise the gravity of the situation. What are ur Opinions guyz?

I’m sure someone’s life was on the line. I personally think she did it to save her father. Only person she loves more than Deva is her father

I feel Tara's father was surrounded by fire that day that's why he is scared of fire. Villagers were very angry as tara's father was like god to them and they also lost their family members . In order to divert their anger Chachi and Chacha put the blame on Deva.

Tara gets to know Deva is in trouble. Chacha asks her to lie as he will die if he stays here but the police will give him protection against those villagers.One everything cools down he will get Deva out. He will not be with her but at least he will be happy. Tara will agree as she is not aware that Chacha is also involved.

She will save Deva but Chacha was just lying and he lies to her that Deva is dead to avoid getting Deva out.

Papa Sehgal seems shady to me tbh. Pakka kuch kaand kiya hoga isne. As of now, the clown couple is shown as the culprit but they can twist it for the sake of trp.

Yess! It makes so much sense that chacha and chachi lied to Tara about getting him out of jail once the matter cools down. That way Tara would be completely innocent in the matter

I guess that chachi black mailed Tara if she won't lie she will kill devabut if she lie they will get Deva out (fake promise )to save her friend's life she had to lie. After that they create a frame about Deva's death.

I didn't read written updates from start but I watched the epi so from that Deva is the only one who Tara loved a lot more than her father. If they take move story like Tara lied for her father's sake it will make no sense with Deva (in future )

i initially thought so but tara would have hated chacho if that's the case. But looks like tara is pretty normal with everyone. So i feel there is not threatening angle. It's just that some one made promise to tara that deva will be safe but he died in that.
