TOI: Saumya Seth to be replaced in Ashoka? - Page 2

Well as far as Saumya's portrayal is not at all impressive a bit... If the news is true then i hope they brings someone who actually can acts well and fit the bill for KVK and mostly who does look mature enough. And more than anything they need to develop the story line... I am dying to see magadh politics based dramma and i think most of the viewers want to c that more than Ashoka's love story or anything else... Nd before bringing any actress they need to develop KVK's characterization and bring some sense to her character...

What's the use of replacing the actress if they aren't going to do anything about the plot? They made a mistake starting the love story too early.And every SINGLE day we had to see either Ashok or Kaurwaki moaning about their "perfect" so-and-so. Apparently Ashok already knows how grown-up Kaurwaki is supposed to look like since he had a dream.😕How ridiculous! IIRC the TRP started dropping with the Prabhari Raja track when Charu started the voodoo nonsense and Chanakya's presence in Magadh was missing.

If they sincerely want to improve the TRP they should

1. Bring more politics and plotting.More screen-time for Helena, Radhagupt and his agent, Charu and Sushim.

2. Put Kaurwaki in the cold-storage till Sushim's death.And when they finally take her out, give her some clothes which look as if they belong to that era.Let them respect each other and not bicker over silly things like their teen-aged selves did.

3.Removing Kaurwaki does not mean that you should instead start putting Devi in each and every episode.Let the romance be in the background.

4. Make Ashok truly nasty.Instead of showing him as a Hulk with a temper problem, make him more clever,cunning and ruthless.Not every problem needs to be solved with the sword.For example, let him get someone to do voodoo on Charu.That will teach her.

5.And finally by popular demand bring back Chanakya for some more dream visitations.(Not that this will happen.I think they have burned their bridges with Manoj Joshi.)

current or replacement actress will not make any difference to love track which PH/CV's hell bent to show this. viewers want is what most of you have said above.

Neither the CVs nor the fangirls ever learn. Plot and characterization draws ratings more than your moony romance.

Of course Soumya needs to be replaced n will be happy if that happens n hopefully we get someone who can portray Kaurvaki well. That being said I don't want the show to focus on romance.
