Absolutely. The track seem to have lost its core - waking up Ashok and making him realise the importance of throne. Instead he is becoming more and more buddhu. While Sush is shown more and more intelligent

We didn't see any of that. Instead it has been a breeze for her.

Btw and no offence to Sushim fans, I think his acting is OTT. He just shouts and screams until his voice grows hoarse. There is absolutely no variation in the voice or expressions. Not my idea of great acting.

I also wonder how the wily and sharp Chanakya assumed that he can leave the throne to Sushim with no damage being done to his dearest Magadh.

This a terrible flaw. Nobody with any sense of responsibility will leave the kingdom in the hands of a rank novice with no back up plan to ensure the safety of the state and its citizens.

AC knows Charu, Sushim and Khal like his own palm. And so how could he assume that the trio will not inflict long-term damage on the kingdom and its subjects?

What if they looted the palace and killed the people? That is in fact happening already.

How could they not have a plan B ready having nearly got wiped out during The Helena conspiracy? Should they not have secured Magadh against adverse exigencies?

Magadh is not some mock Parliament where school kids become pretend ministers.

If Ashok needed to be awakened, it was too costly an experiment to accomplish it via Sushim as Prabhari Raja.

In any case, Ashok has not even been awakened by all the horrors he has witnessed. So was it worth it to take such a big risk?

i agree wid everything u said bt thinking frm Ac's pov as much as he knw abt evil trio he knws abt ashok too na his plan B is ashok only ashok can keep quiet if sush insults him bt he won't sit quiet if magadh is in trouble as a result he became agradoot i'm damn sure AC will find agradoot is noone othr thn ashok in no time and ashok needs to realize the real face of his family members fr tat the evils must be given freedom bt as u say his plan in working in parts only still ashok is denial mode fr throne his plan might have worked if RG and akramak is givn some brains and dialogues bt cvs r busy in glorifying voddo noor and sush antics 🤢

Yes AC should have made some arrangement atleast. Given some advise to RG also. He should have anticipated harm from Helena atleast assuming he thinks Charu-Sush will be reveling in their success.
But as you said Magadh welfare is something seem to be missed. My Q what if enemy attacks Magadh now? Definitely Sush cannot handle atleast AC knows this. He also knows Ashok the more intelligent will not be consulted but ignored and insulted by Sush.
Binfu is buddhu but AC should have thought of Magadh and had a plan B or some messengers giving him regular updates. None of these are happening. Messengers to him were killed and RG is not even wondering about it. Even AC is not wondering why no message from Ppt and could have sent his own messenger to RG. With all these gaps does not look like a story of a kingdom but some saas-bahu, which is what CVs are focusing anyway.

Good point that he has to know his cheap family but he is at a big risk with Helu around and he does not know about her yet.
Maybe AC thought with Prabhariraja announced all family members will loose their attention on Ashok as they would assume it would Sushim Samrat later as Ashok does not qualify. So maybe he is banking in this logic.
