I am speculating and its not shown in the show, but maybe the championship organizers in their over-confidence on Sushim, declared that this year's winner gets to keep sword permanently. Like you know why even bother keeping Wimbledon competition every year, just hand over the trophy to Roger Federer forever! 🤣... but in Sushim's case who knew that Ashoka is gonna interrupt Sushim's winning streak! 😆
