Dharma makes arrangements for the food. The students gather as Sushim asks for coward Ashoka. Meanwhile, Pataliputra gets ready for Agni and Justin's wedding. Helena proposes to make a palace for new queen Agni. Bindusara agrees. Agni tries to act humble by saying she doesn't need a palace. Helena says she knows someone who can construct houses in 3 months. Bindusara inquires about Ashoka from Sushim. Dharma keeps a close watch to see if her son arrived. Ashoka is in the sword room where he gets a cut from the royal sword. He says that I will keep this as a blessing from Chandragupta. His teacher Akaramak asks him to join the rituals but Ashoka denies. On explaining the real lesson, he however agrees. He reaches the palace but becomes sad and returns to school.

He sees Siamak and asks where's he going. Siamak tells him that he has work. Subhrasi asks Drupat to go to his room and sleep but he doesn't wish to. Bindusara asks Subhrasi to let him be! Charu sees Sushim drinking and asks if he is tasting Madira. Sushim says he is just tasting, won't drink. Charu gives him a lecture over a good king. Helena and Rajajiraj talk about their plans and how Bindusara agreed for a palace. Charu sees them talk and wonders what are they up to.
Ashoka is practicing sword when he asks Siamak for guidance. Siamak says you've improved. In no time you will be good to go. Ashoka says I need to get better so that Sushim doesn't defeat him again
. I want to make Samrat proud. Siamak says I can talk to him! Ashoka says I wanna achieve things on my own. Siamak leaves for the patty and invites Ashoka saying father would be happy. Ashoka denies but later agrees. Siamak changes dress and gifts one to Ashoka too. They leeave for the party.
A lady enters the palace and threatens Justin. She removes the mask and it is Agni's sister Ahankara. She says she will kill anyone who tries to hurt her sister. Sushim is smitten by her. Agni asks her to freshen up and come back. Sushim asks to escort her but Ahankara says I know the way, need no help. Helena asks Justin to look happy being married as no one should suspect he is not happy.
Ashoka says he feels stuffed in this dress. Siamak asks if he didn't like his gift. Ashoka says no he loved it. He meets Noor inside and introduces Ashoka. Noor taunts that we don't talk to servants. It is no royal behavior. Siamak says he is a friend. Noor says yeah! But he mustn't thinmk ahead. Siamak tries to argue but Ashoka tells him to listen to his mom. Everyone must listen to their mom! He leaves the party in anger.
