Agree..the casting director has done an amazing job with the starcast.

Even the kids.

Ashoka son of Bindusara and Dharma who eyes have tenderness yet the shrewdness of a ruler

The first Raani and her son have the look of pure evilness

Noor and her son seem to be more cunning and stupid with a dash of crookedness

Chanakya is just brilliant with Manoj holding fort

Suzanne is fascinating as Helena...the crude evil Queen

And last but never the least is the Wonder Pack Young Sid as Ashoka who puts all the 6-pack 8-pack TV heroes to shame!😃

And about history gosh it was a subject I hated and made sure I studied Civics to score my passing 40 marks. Now with all this finery, majestic set up, and starcast it makes my History lessons truly a joy to watch in this day and age. Its never too late to learn something they say. So better still now a pictorial, grand and fun way to learn. And about authenticity of historical data, this is a show made for entertainment and not a documentary where referrals are made and adapted to the present day.

Completely bowled over by Young Ashoka. Who is charismatic and extraordinary! 😳

lovely analysis...
one put off I feel is the weird dubbing voice for Suzanne..very sad as it looses a lot in performance...😭

It is actually a wonderful show.
I am not a history student and also being a history student does not give any credibility because textbooks aren't the best source always. It has a little bit from everything.
Internet, on the other hand is also not something that i would trust. So to what extent it is true I don't know.
Most of the members (no offence) would have done research on the internet so I don't know what to say.
But we all know that unlike other shows, fictional I mean, there is a lot of sense in this show. Except the khurasan part of it. Btw Mir khurasan seems to not use hos brain.
I absolutely love the acting and the costumes.
Hope that this will pick up soon.

But here is an interesting article that partly clears some doubts.

I love how Samrat Vanraj proudly smiles with that shine and glint in his eyes! Its too contagious! 😳
He is getting better and even BETTER each day, no loopholes in his acting, smart and straight to the point reactions, and that bravery that reflects in his eyes! This guy can act with his eyes!

I am too engrossed in him the whole episode. I love Chanakya's acting after Ashoka.

Bindusar's mom is really doing a perfect job, being the evil day. Sushim just rocks when he gives those evil looks.

Perfect casting! Perfect roles. This is getting me hooked, so much! Hats off to all the people involved for creating such an amazing show after ages!⭐️

Each and every actor is giving their best. Not a single flaw in their performance. The serial is driving audiences to the TV room not to miss even a minute of the serial. Chanakya is far more important inn history because without him the empire would not have lasted that long. Ashok only took the reins under Chanakya's guidance. Otherwise with so many pinning for the throne Ashoka alone could not have achieved it.
