Neha Sargam, who charmed everyone with her innocent portrayal in her debut show Chand Chupa Badal Mein on Star Plus, will play a contrasting character in Zee TV and Shashi-Sumeet Mittal Productions Pvt Ltd's Punar Vivah, which happens to be the #1 show on the channel.
In the coming week, a minister played by Sai Ballal will approach Yash (Gurmeet Choudhary) to plan his daughter's wedding. The daughter played by Neha Sargam, character name Neelam, has her own mind set and will do whatever she wants to do.
We hear that as Yash starts preparing for her marriage, he will get to know that the adamant girl does not want to get married to the guy chosen by her father. It is believed that she will go to the extent of killing herself, and this is when Yash will come into her life as the saviour. He will not only save her but also help her out of this mess. The closeness of the girl and Yash will upset Aarti (Kratika Sengar) and this situation will make her realize that she has indeed developed love for Yash.
Producer Sumeet Mittal confirmed Neha Sargam's entry saying, "Yes, she is doing a cameo in Punar Vivah."
