Good morning Sudha. 😊 your ten day break appeared a decade..Before entering into television world Siddharth was a successful model and a business entrepreneur dealing in interior designing. Well let us not delve into the reason as to why he wanted to join the show biz, coz we are aware that the untimely loss of his father and the responsibility of the family were the reason behind his decision . Rest is known to all of us, Sid has tasted strings of failures, he was a man of grit and determination remain composed demonstrated immense patience kept working hard and managed to focus on his work. Finally time has arrived to reap the harvest. Friends here again there is a lesson for all of us ,the way he is dealing with success, has not allowed to enter his head, his balanced views gives an impression that he is spiritual in the real sense.Sid we are proud of you.😊 Love you more than salt.😃

Balika Vadhu Star Siddharth Shukla Teams Up With Alia BhattBalika Vadhu Star Siddharth Shukla Teams Up With Alia Bhatt
By Jessica Lacewalla on January 27, 2014
Siddharth Shukla, popularly known as Shiv from Balika Vadhu was in the news recently for signing a three film deal with Karan Johar.
The first one to roll out will be Karan Johars next production, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya. The film is being directed by Shashank Khaitan and will star Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt in the lead. Siddharth will play an important role in the film.
Karan and Siddharth met on the sets of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 6, where Siddharth was one of the celebrity contestants and Karan the judge.
"Siddharth showed great promise during the show. I felt he has the potential to be on the large screen. Even Shashank Khaitan said that he felt Siddharth could play this role, which is integral to the movie," informed a very elated Karan.
When we asked Siddharth he confirmed the news. He also stated that though he is happy being part of the film fraternity, he would never quit television because that is what gave him his identity.
"I am just happy that I am getting a chance to act in films when I don't belong to film industry. The whole business of television shows rests on TRPs and leaps are introduced to better TRPs, but I can't say now if I will leave television for films. As of now I will work out a way to do both," he says.
However, he also says that "If there is a leap then that is something I will think when such track is introduced in the show. Karan Johar is a highly understanding individual and has given me freedom to work in both mediums."
Talking about his role on television, he agrees that Shiv is the righteous husband at times and did not have many shades to play earlier. "But there will be interesting tracks around him in the future. And even if I cross the bridge and move to films, I will continue to say hello' to the other side - I will never leave television, not for now," said a very confident Siddharth.
Here's wishing this talented star all the very best for his future.
