Hyder: A Not-For-Eva Story

Aamir Khan's stepbrother Hyder Ali Khan's marriage to telly actress Eva Grover seems to have hit a rocky terrain. It is learnt that due to sharp differences over various issues, they are on the verge of a split.
The couple, who has a one-year old daughter Ayana, stayed with Aamir's father Tahir Hussain and his second wife Shehnaz at Versova. Hyder is Shehnaz's child through a previous marriage.
Says a source, "The couple have been going through a lot of upheavals in their relationship; severe differences have cropped up related to work, home and money."
Cracks in the marriage became apparent a while back when Eva decided to move back to her parental home.
Says a source, "First Aamir used to support his father but after the legal imbroglio over the custody of his brother Faisal, the entire scenario changed. Hyder is still an aspiring actor."

Eva, who currently features in the Sony show Waqt says, "I don't want to say anything about it now. I can only talk about it after a month. Yes, I am back at my parents' home with my daughter. There's nothing more I want to say." Known for her comic timing, Eva was earlier seen in soaps like Sharaarat, Gupshup Coffee Shop and Hum Saath Aath Hain.
On the other hand, Hyder maintains, "Which marriage does not go through its ups and downs? And whose wife does not go to stay at her parents' home?"
However he denies that they are heading for a split. "Eva and my daughter are living with me. There is no problem. In fact, I am proud of Eva and the way she is striking balance between home and exacting TV shoot schedules."
Hyder, a B-Town aspirant, will be seen in Raja Bundela's Dil To Deewana Hai and K Shantanu's Kuch Kehna. He adds, "Eva is a hard worker and I am happy to see how she shed so much weight after the baby. She follows Anjali Mukherjee's diet as she wants to play the bahu not the saas in TV shows. I'm proud of her."
