Playback singer Abhijeet tried to play Smart Alec with Priyanka Chopra recently. And ended up with egg on his face.
In an episode of Ek Se Badhkar Ek, Priyanka Chopra and Harman Baweja came as guests. During the shooting, Abhijeet started off with his poor jokes.
Says a unit member, "Abhijeet said, 'Priyanka doesn't go anywhere without Harman' and said it pretty sarcastically.
Priyanka immediately reacted by asking whether this was a joke and a cue for her to laugh."
Abhijeet turned red at the put-down, but that didn't stop him from continuing in the same vein.
He tried again, by saying, "Priyanka will henceforth try to sign all her the movies with Harman, right Priyanka?"
Priyanka retorted, "Mujhe laga aap gana gane main expert hain, aap to bhavishyabani bhi karte hain." (I thought you were a singer, but you seem to be a forecaster too.)
