Mithun turns copycat! | 2008-06-30

Looks like creativity isn't important for him anymore!

Mithun Chakraborty has always been known for being one of the best actors in the country.

But guess he's bored of that image now.

I won't be surprised if Mithun Da complains. Obviously much of his worry can be attributed to his son with that squeaky voice, Mimoh. The lad's debut film bombing so badly at the box office must have given him the sleepless nights.

The smart man must have realized that his son's not set to make him proud in anyway. And he has to keep doing the hard work for name and fame for the rest of his life.

Well, Mithun Da's disturbed state of mind must have resulted in this turnaround of sorts!

Now Amitabh Bachchan has been trying hard to prove to the world his youth and vigour by experimenting with his looks and body with increased vitality throughout this year. He was recently seen in 'Bhoothnath' in a never before seen look!

In fact, all his films which will be releasing this year will have him donning different looks.

The thing is one of his much experimented looks from the 'ShoeBite' directed by Soojit Sarkar is very much similar to Mithun Da's in 'Zor laga ke... haiya'.
Big B will be seen with white hair and beard and one of his legs will be completely bandaged in 'ShoeBite'.

In 'Zor lage Ke... Haiya', Mithun is playing a beggar who is thrown out from his house and finds a place on the streets of Mumbai. He too has an untidy bearded look in the movie, apparently inspired by Big B.

What comes as a surprise is that it was Mithun Da who suggested the look to Kartikeya Talreja, the producer of the movie!

He sat with the novice filmmaker and designed the entire look.

Soojit Sarkar's 'Shoebite' is actually a film which was planned much before 'Zor laga ke'. And so was Big B's look!

So basically it's Mithun Da and his chindi producer who are copying Big B's look.

Now things haven't exactly been hunky dory between these one time good colleagues (AB and Mithun Da) for long.

So don't be surprised if there is big verbal fight ensues soon. After all, Big B isn't in the mood to take things lying down any more.

Whatever the case may be, just keep in mind I was the one to bring this to your notice first!

On C'mon. Mithun is a very good actor in this own right and so is amitabh. This is just petty journalism.

What a petty journalism like someone said. Mithun and Big B both are legends.
