Maybe not...I think Shahrukh, ash and Madhuri did a wonderful job...Great performances...I really love the cast of Devdas...

The love story between Devdas and Paro...Great love story...

(4) Any specific scene that made you emotional

There are a lot of scenes that made me emotional..I think the scene's during the song Hamesha tumko chacha..., The last scene where Devdas die and Paro can't reach there...also the scene where Devdas says to his mother...Ke ek dhin aisa aayenga jab woh Kehengi ke yeh duniya hi chodo...There are a lot of scene's

Well there is not a special part that I don't like..I like the whole movie and every scene was great...

Both are really good in this movie...Great performances by both..great lines..Great acting..Ash did her role as paro really good..but I think Madhuri also did a great job by playing chandramukhi...So I like both..

Well I think it would be better if they both died..Devdas and Paro..

Paro Because i liked her acting more and her clothes.

Yes it was, because when devdas died eveyone got emotional and like the movie and told the others to watch it too.

Yes, this was the best.

The characters were well chosen. Though I felt that Madhuri Dixit looked old and heavier to play Chandramukhi when compared to Vyjayantimala in older version of Devdas. In the face off between Ash & Madhuri in Dola Re, Ash clearly was way ahead. Still Madhuri being a fine actor that she is, etched her part very well.

(3) What was the thing about the movie that you liked the most?

The chemistry between Ash and SRK. I thought Ash was perfect for the role and loved her performance to the T. The songs were melodious.

(4) Any specific scene that made you emotional

The movie was overdramatic so I didn't feel any emotions. It was boring most times.

(5) What was the thing about the movie which you didn't like?

I didn't like the treatment the whole movie got from the director. Too much of anything is distasteful and Devdas was one such movie which went overboard in every aspect. One of the worst movies of SLB and most overrated movie of that year because it won some awards for SLB which he didn't deserve.

Some good but most times there was just too much

Keeping the same characters I would prefer a subtle version where emotions took centerstage rather than melodrama and gaudy costumes.

Paro because her character was clearly etched and Ash just got into the skin of the character as the immature lover who just loved the idea of being in love. Chandramukhi's character was lacking somewhere as Madhuri had lost her charm. She looked jaded in front of bright looking Ash.

(12) Do you think the death of Devdas was the best option, what if he remained alive.

I would go with the actual story. Devdas the alcoholic that he was, would have died of Cirrhosis sooner.

Worst film by SLB till date.

(3) What was the thing about the movie that you liked the most? The Background Music and the whole settings as well as the dances and the whole outfits!!

(4) Any specific scene that made you emotional! The ending when Devdas is on Paro's doorstep and Paro is running towards the gate with red feet and the yard of the sari jus flyin behind her and shes jus shouting Devvvvaaa..! IT WAS AMAZINGLY DIRECTED!

(5) What was the thing about the movie which you didn't like? I think the worst thing was dev's dad and his bhabi both really annoyed me.

Paro - i thought she was amazing to still move on with her life even though she still loves Devdas

No I think everyone acted brilliantly. No other star cast would have done justice to the film.

When devdas dies in the end and also the dialogue between him and chandermukhee where he breaks the alcohol bottle and he is having conversation with himself and the GOD.

Both because they both loved davdas in their own ways and were willing to do anything for their love.

Than the lovers would be united. However the movie would lack passion.

Dilip Kumal, Vyjayantimala and Suchitra Sen did the best and no one can do that again

Designers did great job..... but according to story not a single costume was matching, Paro was poor but was wearing Lehngas worth Lakhs😆 same with Chnadermukhi

7/10-the promos were out of this world..i dont remember ever wanting to see any movie so badly-when I finally saw it I found it all a bit over the top and overwhelming.

No..they were perfectly cast

The music,dances,costumes and the 3 gorgeous actors!

I found the song 'more piya' extremely erotic

gaudy,over the top,grand operatic theatrical interpretation of a simple intimate story.

I liked Chandramukhi more.She acted well,had better dialogues,more sympathatic character,also had 4 beautiful dances including chalak,chalak.Paro had youth ful beauty and Devadas love.

yes.if he had remained alive,hewould have just extended his life a little longer,loser that he was.
