Vivek Oberoi's career is on a roll! The talented actor, who started out with a bang with his incredible performance in Company and continued to do critically acclaimed work in Saathiya, Masti, Omkara and Shootout at Lokhandwala to name a few, is set to make even more waves in 2008. He is currently working on Mission Istanbul, has just signed an exciting new project and hired a new publicist.

Mission Istanbul is set to release later this year and co-stars Zayed Khan, Suniel Shetty and Shriya Saran. The action film is directed by Apoorva Lakhia, who directed Vivek in his outstanding turn as Maya Dolas in Shootout at Lokhandwala.

As we reported earlier, his new project is in a film directed by Rensil D'Silva, who penned the outstanding script of Rang De Basanti. Along with Vivek, the film stars Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. The film is being produced by the Karan Johar banner, Dharma Productions and Karan confirmed the casting saying, "Yes, I have signed Vivek for my next film. I was really impressed with his role in Shootout . It is an unusual love triangle between two guys and a girl. Saif, Vivek and Kareena will play the respective roles."

Vivek has also hired Dale Bhagwagar as his new publicist and Dale said, "Vivek is at an interesting and challenging stage of his career where he is being offered very meaty roles. It's going to be exciting for us to subtly brand him, giving a new perspective to his stardom." The Dale Bhagwagar Media Group represents such illustrious stars as Hrithik Roshan, Shilpa Shetty, Priyanka Chopra, Esha Deol, Shiney Ahuja, Randeep Hooda and Ashok Amritraj.
