Anil Kapoor's little girl, Sonam Kapoor, was launched as a demure Indian girl in her debut, Saawariya. And it looks as if she's taken the screen image a little too seriously. Apparently, Sonam turned down an offer to star opposite Hrithik Roshan in Kites. To be produced by Rakesh Roshan, the film will be directed by Life In A… Metro director, Anurag Basu. Apparently, Rakesh was so impressed by Sonam's performance that he went to Anil with an offer for her. However, on listening to the script, Sonam found her role to be too bold. Consequently, she decided to turn down the proposal. Now, Latin actress, Barbara Mori has replaced her in the lead role opposite Hrithik. We wonder if papa Anil had any say in this.

i wish these tabloids get a life along with the haters of sonam. they keep on saying that sonam refused the role blah blah blah and isn't it the truth that sona was never approached for the role? this gives another reason for people to hate on sonam.

Haters of Sonam will never get a life. Did Ash-haters ever get a life?😆...After all, Sonam is presumably so dead hungry for publicity and limelight according to some pseudo-intellectuals that she has no other job besides harping on projects that she will never do. 😉....Jokes apart, it makes no difference to Sona's life who dislikes or hates her...she doesn't even know if they exist.Petty minds need to unload their garbage somewhere...so they choose victims and a get a high out of acting oh-so-smart and oh-so-know-it-all. So, let's not even go there.

What becomes of Sonam and what happens to her is entirely on her providence an karma.....someday she will make paper-rockets out of all these words of satanic hatred and words of discouragement. 😛😉
