Rules in South seemed to have changed as unlike the past when the audiences would be more stirred up with watching those voluptuous women and men with a belly on the big screen, meticulous fans now, are ready to settle for no less than a 6-pack hunk paired opposite the perfect 10.

So, for Ash who has signed 'Robot' opposite Rajnikanth, has been asked to shed 6 kilos as her role in the movie requires her to be quite slender. Ash had earlier lost weight for 'Dhoom:2' as she was to wear the sexy micro minis and those hot shots.

Madhavan too, is working hard nowadays to lose his chubby look as he has to star opposite Kamal Hassan's daughter Shruti in her debut. Besides, the south superstar sure has to look in shape as Shruti happens to be 10 years younger to him.

Now, this situation does make sense, but why Ash? The actress is 20 years younger to Rajnikanth and more in shape compared to the South 'King'.

May be it's time for the 'Robot' to lose some as well.
