Nana and Anil - The real stars of WELCOME
WELCOME has turned out to be the last super hit of 2007 and is now a worthy competitor to surpass the total collections of films like CHAK DE INDIA and PARTNER (both in the range of 60-65 crores). While the 85 crore total of OM SHANTI OM may not really be manageable, the film is truly on its way to be the biggest ever grosser of Akshay Kumar.
While this is quite good for Akshay because the film consolidates his box office status with due respect to the pull that he managed for WELCOME, the fact remains that Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor have turned out to be the biggest stars and gainers of WELCOME.
