For your information,Aish is on the top of the most beautiful woman list and the most hottest woman list! She's soo attractive that when she was in her Miss India pageant, the host of the contest actually asked her out.He wasn't even Indian,he was white!.LOL.

So becasue she got asked out by a white person it prooves how gorgeous ash is? Have you any idea how many indian girls are going out with europeans? Just becasue one is in the list hottest woman does not make them hot to everyone. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I think Deepika id pretty just as Sonam is but who the better actress we will see after the movies are released

And even if someone likes Deepika for "just beauty" then what is wrong in that?

Many a times talent alone doesn't help but famous last names do. If not for these famous last names we wouldn't see so many of these so called talented actors on big screen making big debuts. They might end up on television like Prachi Desai or become the Ompuris and Nandita Dases of Indian cinema.

lolll maya.....i like deepika very much....i guess my comment came out in a sarcastic way or sumthing....i didnt mean it that way...i didnt say anywhere that deepika lacks real talent...😕

what i meant to say was, deepika is beautiful no doubt....but as far as her acting talent is concerned ....we'll have to wait for the movie to judge her on that.....i havent seen her act anywhere so i dont noe about her acting talent...

and about famous last names..im assuming ur pointing towards sonabir.....if not den forgive me.....but ive seen ranbir act b4...ive watched his clips from his short films...sure it wasnt too long....but i was quite impressed..onli after watching those clips i became such an admirer of him...i had seen his pictures b4 on everyone's siggies....but didnt fall for him....it was after those clips i became a fan....itz not like his looks changed after a few weeks or sumthing....lol...i dont go for looks really...i fell for his talent.....but everything now depends on his bollywood film...the real judgement will be made shortly...we'll have to wait for that as well....

as for sonam...i never ever made any statement about her acting talent anywhere...i like her for her nature and real self.....even for her, ill have to wait for the movie to judge her on her acting...i cant say she is true talent as yet either......same for deepika....

both are gorgeous in their own way....infact all 3....my comments goes for all 3 of them...we'll have to wait till this friday to see if they are really talented, or if itz another case of just beauty, and famous last names...but since this topic was of deepika...i onli mentioned her....loll

actually...to be honest....wen i made that comment....it was for rani mukherjee....cuz in the quote, the member rote about actresses being a million times below average as far as looks are concerned.....and rani is an average looking actress...without making, shes even below average looking.....but her talent is her real beauty....that was where my comment was going.....but i guess since i didnt say it clearly...it came out with a wrong meaning against deepika 😕😆 i was onli defending rani....or the likes or om puri and nandita das...whoes talent is their true beauty....lolll nothing against dear deeps...😳

From badminton to Om Shanti Om

Deepika is not new to filmdom. She was first seen on the silver screen in the Kannada blockbuster, Aishwarya. Her first director and producer, Indrajith Lankesh said that he was extremely happy that the girl he introduced had got her big break in Bollywood, and is sharing the screen with King Khan himself.

Indrajith said that he was initially apprehensive about working with her because of her modelling background.

"Models usually do not have the body language when it comes to movies. But Deepika had trained hard with the likes of Anupam Kher before coming into movies. She had also taken dance classes under Shiamak Davar," he says.

But Indrajith adds that she needs to work even harder on her acting skills. "I am not being harsh but she has to brush up in that department," he says. "Otherwise, she is such a beautiful woman and I hope, as a Bangalorean, that she makes it big."

Megs, Nothing against you, sweety.😊

I feel it is unfair that some people argue how we should see past outer beauty and appreciate the inner beauty and the same people scrutinize female actors for being beautiful. Whether someone is dark or squint eyed or green eyed or fair or whatever features, no one chooses it. So if you argue that we should appreciate someone with dark color then we shouldn't be judgmental about the fair ones too.

Whether anyone agrees with me or not it is evident that an average looking actor with few emotions gets appreciated faster but a good looking female actor rarely gets appreciation. I remember Kareena was not given much exposure before her first film's release and everyone appreciated her in Refugee and someone branded her as next Kajol because she appeared with makeup-less look. It is when she started doing the KJo films and people panned her. You will laugh at me but I think Kareena is at par with Kajol. Kareena will have to work harder to reach where Kajol is because of her skin color and face eventhough she has Reduge, Dev, Omkara, JWM to her credit and Kajol has KJo films.

Expectations from beautiful people are much higher and they have to constantly prove them. Beautiful people also have advantage of getting noticed faster so I guess it works both ways. When it comes to Bollwyood either you should have a famous last name and a mom or dad or sometimes even a wife (in Saif's case) to back you up and recommendyou to everyone or you should have a stunning face.

What is talent? It is subjective. People hate KJo and Yashraj films so much but name me successful films of Rani, Kajol, SRK. Which films made them household names?

I am sorry for writing so much. I hate essay type posts and I did the same thing here. You can skip or yawn😆. It is like Ashutosh's movies where he gets puzzled at editing table.

Now coming back to actual topic of this thread. Why does men drool over Deepika? The answer is another question why does women drool over Ranbir and not Anjana Mumtaz's son?😉

I think Deepika got this break because of her pretty face.
