Move over Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan. Shah Rukh Khan, who has been weight training for the last three months, has just recorded a song bare-chested for Farah Khan's Om Shanti Om. This is the first time ever in his career that the almost 42-year-old actor has shed his clothes for a film. The story goes that Khan never really aspired to go shirtless while facing the camera. However, he had once promised to go bare for good friend Farah's film and that led to the genesis of this song. Says Farah, who shot the item song at Yash Raj Studios, "He had promised me that if he ever goes bare-bodied it will be for my film."
While the film has been completely shot, Farah consciously kept the song for the end so that Khan had enough time to prepare for it. "And the results are fabulous," says a unit member. Although Khan has been holidaying in London earlier this year, he kept away from fatty foods.
The sets in the Yash Raj Studios compound attracted a lot of onlookers. The staff wanted to get a glimpse of the rippling muscles and the six-pack washboard abs of the superstar. Says an onlooker, "It was an event of the day. Shah Rukh has got a perfect six-pack. The item song has no one else, no other female artistes. He has done it solo. He is going to shock everyone."
Talking about the Khan men's shirtless acts, Salman Khan was the first to show off his body during the song 'O O Jane Jana' in Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya (1998). Later Saif bared in Salaam Namaste and now even Aamir Khan has filmed a shirtless song in the Ghajini remake.
but i think that salman Khans preformance was the best of the best.. no one all do a better preformance then salman khan...đ
