Arshad Warsi, who became famous as circuit due to Munnabhai films, has been accused by Raj Zutshi of trying to chop off his role in the upcoming flick ' Goal.' Raj Zutshi was especially upset with the actor for not allowing him to shoot for scoring a goal in the film, which was earlier supposed to be performed by Zutshi. In fact, Arshad Warsi connived with the director Vivek Agnihotri in denying Raj the opportunity and instead shot for that particular scene himself at Karjat, where the shooting is presently going on.
As a source from the sets in Karjat reveals, ' Some very important sequences were being picturized of the final match at ND Studios. Raj Zutshi was supposed to score a goal for the match. However, at the last minute it was changed and the scene was picturized on Arshad, and not on Zutshi. Raj seemed very upset and confronted Vivek. He even accused Arshad of trying to steal the limelight. Raj was obviously very upset and they had a showdown on the sets before the rest of the cast intervened and stopped the scene from getting ugly.'
On the other hand, the director is very cool about the whole thing, though admitting that a showdown took place on the sets. The director was of the opinion that the last moment changes are always possible and made on the spot and Raj Zutshi should have known about these things. Arshad Warsi was given the opportunity to score that particular goal as he has more star value in bollywood than Raj Zutshi and will be attracting more applause from the audiences. And hence everything was done keeping in mind the larger interest of the film than any individual.
Seems…. …Circuit….aka Arshad…is as manipulative as others in the film industry, no?? In any case Raj, you should understand that Gandhigiri… and all those big talks….are meant only for Munnabhai films…….and Circuit has no use for them in cut throat bollywood, what say??
