After being jailed Dhamaal will be Sanjay Dutt's first release while he is still in prison. Director Indra Kumar's mega laugh riot Dhamaal has an all male star cast - Sanjay Dutt, Ritesh Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Aashish Chowdhury and Javed Jaffrey. All five are thrown into hilarious life threatening situations thanks to chaos and misunderstandings that has the audience in side splitting laughter.

Director Indra Kumar is very positive and says that absence of heroines or item numbers will not make any difference to the film, "I didn't feel a need for any heroines in the film. As for taking a risk well I feel it might set a trend for other future films. The script is so strong that when you will see the film, you will understand there was no need of heroines between such funny male bonding!"

Also the movie may generate interest with the public because we won't be able to see so much of Sanjay any more. Sanjay Dutt will not be able to work on any new movies until his jail term gets over.
