Abhishek will remain my first hero: Karee

Abhishek has made it very apparent that he will not be working with Kareena, so it was a very difficult decision for KJo because Abhishek is like a family to him, and Kareena is supposed to be his best buddy. But now, it's official that AB Jr is not doing the film. It was supposed to be directed by Tarun Manshukhani.

Abhishek, still brooding about his break-up with Karishma, turned down friend Karan Johar's offer, when he realized that Kareena is cast opposite him. Abhishek obviously has not forgiven Kareena's remarks on him and his family, which she made just after the Abhishek-Karishma break-up. The buzz around is that, Abhishek has asked KJo to sign Aishwarya Rai for the film.

When contacted Kareena Kapoor, she says, "Frankly speaking I would not like to answer this question and give it undue importance. If Abhishek doesn't want to work with me, it's his choice and I am absolutely fine with it. For once and all, I would like to put it straight that, Abhishek is my first hero, and he will remain my first hero. No one can change that. I have seen him giving his first shot in J P Dutta's Refugee.

I was young and I was standing behind the camera watching him perform. I knew it that he will be a big star. Whatever he has done today, he is done it on his own credit and hard work. Till date whenever we speak about Abhishek, everyone in our family speaks highly about him. This relationship is too delicate and I don't want media to play with such equation.

Karan is also a very dear friend of mine, so I would appreciate if media keeps us out from all these malicious stories."
