Shiney and Shilpa in Metro

Shiney Ahuja throws tantrums galore. He is known to sulk at the slightest provocation. Shilpa Shetty and the crew members of Metro got a taste of the actor's childish behaviour on the sets of the film, recently. The story goes that in an interview Shilpa had praised Kay Kay Menon's performance. The following day when Shilpa walked into the sets Shiney cold- shouldered her and retired to a corner after every shot. We are no strangers to the fact that Shiney is not too fond of co-star Kay Kay Menon. So when Shilpa showered Kay Kay with praise it obviously didn't go down well with the actor.

Says a source, "Shiney had obviously read the interview and he sat sulking in one corner. He refused to even greet Shilpa. Shilpa was quite baffled. Only later she realised that it was because of her praising Kay Kay to the skies that Shiney was refusing to acknowledge her presence."

Knowing Shilpa, she approached Shiney and told him that she found him equally talented and appealing. In fact, only after she talked to him for over an hour that Shiney got back to his normal demeanor. Says a source close to Shiney, "That's Shiney for you. He loves to be reassured and pampered." Another source from the production house reveals, "He'd sulk at the slightest provocation. Like a child Shiney seeks constant attention and wants to be the best in class. But what happened on the sets wasn't called for."
