And when one doesn't get shot down by mods or condemned by especially members who somehow resonate with the said side or feel for all then the other party is bound to retaliate. Also one can't search and condemn everything where someone feels attacked. So there isn't really an easy solution except self introspection and moderation.

My self-introspection told me that this kind of colportage (peddlery with sensational tweets) done by Nathu in this thread which attributes a disgusting thing (s*x-related in addition) to explicitly Muslim persons, isn't okay - in no way.

My self-introspection also tells me that in SRK/Aamir/Salman related threads some very negative (accusing) posts are only done because these actors are Muslim (in addition with false narratives).

My self-introspection also tells me that it is a no-go to attack members here because of their known religion/nationality/roots (= Muslim/Pakistani). Attacking me because it pleases someone to doubt my identity, doesn't touch me as long as I don't get insulted or lies are written about me (like "Hindu hate", "anti-India", pro-terrorists, etc.).

So, yes, I call for "moderation" in all these cases...and I do it openly.

I vented the feeling that - in the last month - the hate speech got fully targeted on everybody born as a Muslim (and not as a non-Muslim) and only negative things about them are told/shown/posted from a part of IF-users (you're among them but generally only in the CA-forum) regardless of the truth (how would y o u know that the Twitter posts tell the truth???)

I've no "pain", I just find it unfair to do such agitation (as done with Muslims having s*x with dead bodies) also here in the more Entertainment-focussed part, only because it is the most frequented part of the forum.

And Nathu, at least you know that I reported you (I think, I don't have to do it secretly, neither with you nor with anybody else).

Your words and actions don't match each other. Hence my opinion about you. I judge people based on their actions rather than what they are trying to make you believe through their suger coated words.

Unlike you, I tend to retain my doubts only until they are refuted. I don't keep stretching my doubts so that my rosy perception about something doesn't break. You on the other hand, keep stretching your doubts and discard every proof (regarding a certain specific stand) so that your opinions and viewpoints for the opposite stand remains intact. It doesn't bother me too much. You are free to live in your bubble unless you start preaching to others. The problem is you don't.

Should I feel obliged that you 'informed' me that you reported me? You don't have to make a public announcement everytime you report someone. I guess most of us already know you would be reporting but still post. You can't silence the dissent you see.

Nathu, what you posted in this thread may be the truth or not, it doesn't change my thinking that you are obsessed by your negativity about Muslims in general, not only extremists or terrorists... and that t h i s specific post you selected for this thread, you did deliberately to disgust readers against specifically Muslims...would you ever having done a post about someone of another religion having done sex with a dead body (or even more than one)?

Your interpretation of me, my thinking, what I'm doing, dear Nathu, is yours, so nothing insulting - just your perception smiley16

I think it's already crystal clear what my opinion is about a certain section. None other but just one section. I don't deny it. It's their actions that have forged my opinion. When their actions will change my opinion will also change.

I'm glad that you find this disgusting. Do you think it should be brushed under the carpet like all the other disgusting things being done by them?

If someone else did something like this I would still have posted this. What is wrong is wrong. Period! You think you know me very well but you don't.

As for interpretations, it's obvious you have yours and I have mine. It's just that, unlike you, I don't try to impose my interpretations on others. I just post news and facts and it's upto others to form their own interpretations and opinions. However it's very obvious that you have problems with that too.

I don't have a problem with you reporting me either. You don't even need to announce to me or other readers cos at this point many of us take it as granted that you would get busy reporting us.

My sense of fairness tells me to tell people that I report/reported them... and - to me at least - it is n o t about "silence the dissent" I see. But okay, bias towards someone mostly clouds the perception...a bit like 'blinkers on' (and I would not call myself an exception...).

No, not at all. I don't belong to those who think this way...the only person I know very well, it's me.

Didn't you just wrote in one of your posts quoting me that you look at a person according to the person's actions??? Well, your action then is posting a striiiiing of social media posts with always ( a l w a y s ) telling something negative about Muslims. Will you now tell me, that it hasn't a very distinct purpose? And how would you k n o w that what these social media posts show/tell isn't done for the same purpose. What does a picture show ? What it is written about what it shows? What does a (random) person say? Does this person tell the truth?

Yes, in these times of opinion-manipulation through social media, I question a lot of tweets posted (not only those posted by you, Nathu).

@ first para - I highly doubt even that smiley36 who better to understand about doubts than you smiley36

@ 2nd para - And your action has always been of defending them or silencing others to not post that stuff, Since you can't defend it.

As for me I'm a well known Islamophobe in this forum. I've even written it in my signature. How much more clarity do you need about my stand? smiley44

Also when you question those tweets, some people will question your intention too. Every action has a reaction smiley1
