No, I don't think so... I think that Deva is mentally 'deranged' by something that happened... but the trailer focusses too much on the violence displayed, imo.

Yeah well it does open with his brother being killed and we do see a normal Shahid for like 2 seconds but the focus is on this crazy Shahid. So definitely a brother angle in there somewhere. And maybe his entire family gets terrorized before he goes mad? But still they could have shown some of that in the trailer. I get that Animal was successful just because of the violence, but even its trailer showed a little more than just the violence.

They definitely don’t want to reveal the plot, and the final product might turn out to be excellent. Shahid’s performance undoubtedly will be. But the trailer doesn’t stand out.

Possibly a remake of Mumbai Police. How was the first one received?
