Was KJo even involved with Bahubali? I thought he got involved with Bahubali2 as a presenter after the huge success of Bahubali. I don’t think Rajmouli owes him anything, but film industries are run as a quid pro quo machines. Everyone does everyone else a favor expecting something in return when it’s their turns.

I wouldn’t be surprised if NTR Jr. gets a Dharma movie soon.

I remember Rajamouli crediting the idea of taking BB pan India to K Jo. Apparently he happened to watch the rushes and encouraged Rajamouli to dub it into Hindi seeing its potential to be an instant hit with the Hindi belt and even agreed to be a presenter. With 2 he went on board as one of the producers when Rajamouli was looking for funds to complete the movie and get it to the theaters.

See its not Rajamouli owes him...Did Kjo has anything to do with RRR? Still Jahnvi is in two of Ram charan movies,already done Jr Ntr movie...etc..So its not just Rajamouli...almost all top heroes as well..

Now another set of top heroes Prabhas, Allu Arjun etc are under the control of Anil Thadani/Raveena, so it won't be a surprise if their daughter will be seen in those heroes future movies, or in another top Telugu heroes...Its all about power, influence and connections...

TFI looks like a self sufficient industry with the ability to produce Pan India movies which collect huge, but still need help from big production houses and distributions thats the fact.

TFI being essentially a regional industry and fairly a newcomer in the Hindi market, it goes without saying that it needs big distribution houses to catapult their movies in the Hindi markets. And they will continue to give flowerpot roles to some Hindi stars for better visibility.Other than that, it is the Hindi industry clamoring for their attention.

Anil Thadani is the hindi distributor for Prabhas, Allu Arjun movies...

It may not only be KJo factor behind Jhanvi Kapoor getting cast in a High profile Telugu film. Sridevi factor played a very big role in her getting this role.

Telugu audience loved and still love Sridevi like no other audience. She was promoted in Telugu version as Sridevi's daughter.

Don't think he put his money on this film as producer. He sure attached his name as presenter.The producers did not make profits on BB1 but that covered the production costs involved for both 1 and 2. KJo only lent his name not money.

Now post RRR SSR doesn't need him at all. He made his presence felt in western world too.

I just googled it and according to Wikipedia Dharma was one of the distributors for part 1. It’s not mentioned as anything for part 2 but I do remember reading it as a presenter for part 2. KJo or Dharma were never producers, and frankly after the success of the first one Rajamouli would never have any need to look for funds.

But yea I get what you’re saying. If Rajamouli feels that KJo helped his film with a pan India release then he would be more inclined to do him a favor.

It might not be bec of need.. You might oblige someone who once helped you out or who you think can help in the future... ... This is where kjo scores.. He seems to get along with everyone
