I have been to Kashmir. As one renowned scholar said “if there is a heaven on earth, it is here here here”. It’s gorgeous. I have been all over the state. In fact I have two amazing Kashmiri rugs at my place here :).

I really dont want to make any other comment but do you actually realize this is indirectly promoting EVM because no matter who is doing ballot paper voting is being rigged.

Article 370 was a "temporary provision". That's the first line of the Bill. No region in India should be autonomous. That's just absurd. Every party in India voted in favor of the scrapping of the bill. The events that followed, the violence/unrest and Communications shutdown by the Government was unfortunate but expected. There isn't much good that has come out of 10 yrs of Modi, but this is certainly one of it. Not controversial at all.
