Would Oppenheimer and KOTFM work if released in Bollywood?

Given the success of "Oppenheimer" and "Killers of the Flower Moon" in Hollywood, indicating an evolving audience mindset, would these films have found similar success in Bollywood? Would they transcend the typical barriers of the box office in India, appealing to a wide audience?

Oppenheimer did over 150crs in India with it being the only overseas market where it's collections outscored Barbie.

KOTFM was a low release and Martin Scorsese unfortunately doesn't has the fanbase of Nolan in India.

Yup , A big disaster , but it still grossed 150 million dollars .

Its a great movie though and will stand the test of time .

Oppenheimer was not anything extra ordinary story. What lifted it up was the acting. Plus the legacy of Nolan. Had any other lesser known director crated it, I doubt it it would have been so big!

How did Oppenheimer make so much money in India? As far as I am aware, 90% of Indians have not studied quantum physics.
