yes but ranbir himself is quite overrated as an actor. SRK is more charismatic than anything, he is one of the weakest actors who've become top stars. IIRC SRK himself has admitted it.
I just told you in your other post Ranbir is better than Irfan Khan, Dilip Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, and Manoj Bajpai. Kitni baar kahu yaar?
Yes. But then both are plagued by similar career philosophy that limits their acting capabilities.
Shah got a safe blanket in YRF-Dharma NRI-nostalgia rom-com drama till he couldn't pull them off (Tbf, the good/experimental films where he really shone were often not hits— Asoka, Swades, Fan come to mind). Chak De and Om Shanti Om were so great because they subverted these tropes despite being in that YRF-Dharma-RCE culture.
Ranbir does these borderline sexist (recently violently misogynist) manchildren roles who need a manic pixie to cure them/lead to self-realisation. Both tropes are oversaturated for both of them.
