Your cable is lighting. You'll have to change the cable. They're changing the charging port on the iPhone 15 from lighting to USB-C, so you will use a USB-C cable, which should be shipped in the box unless they want to loot you. You're welcome.

Like I said I buy a universal cable and get the USB-C adaptor as you mentioned but you remember when apple changed to lightening cable they made specific adaptors that would plug into only the lightening cableI and Samsung did the same saying it’s quicker in charging. Anyways I’m excited on the colors esp the Barbie pink color 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
