Yeah I didn’t see, may be I wasn’t here yet. Link please?. But on YT also I only saw Akshay’s bashing for the same product. Don’t know if it is the same ad. Just go over the comments on the ad, while Shahrukh and Ajay were getting accolades Akshay was getting dhulofied all in the same thread and for the same ad😅.

But generally speaking, do they get called out for promoting Pepsi cola etc? Do they get called out for promoting fair skin over darker skin? And the other unhealthy and controversial products they promote? Like Sara is being pointed at, in the video

All are hypocrites.

Hrithik had once said he did not let his kids drink colas or eat cookies or chocolates. While he himself endorsed Coke, Hide and seek biscuits.

Amitabh himself does not take even tea or coffee but he has endorsed fizzy drinks, chai patti etc.

And we all know Ajay, Akki, SRK do not take Vimal themselves (they may be using something else).

Akki now claims to be fitness icon but has endorses cigarettes and alcohol brands earlier.

Ash, Deepika, Bebo, Lolo, Alia, Disha etc avoid sugar themselves and take strict diet but have endorsed soft drinks and Frooti type drinks which are nothing but sugar.

Celebs do anything for money. Only people are fools to take them seriously.

I realised how foolish we were when I read Juhi's interview in Filmfare and she said she did not let her kids watch HHRPK because she has kissed Aamir on lips in one scene in that film and that may not be appropriate for kids to watch. I was like WTH? And here we had HHRPK shown as summer vacation special or Children's Day special on Zee cinema for kids every year! And many 90s kids had seen HHRPK with parents thinking it was a kids' film or family film.

The double standards have been there forever.

Only we are fool to believe stars or follow them too much or expect responsibility from them.

Amitabh and Ranveer were MAULED for promoting some pan masala.

So were SRK and Akki.

Amitabh and Akki even had to issue apologies on social media after backlash.

SRK, PC, Yami, Amrita, Salman etc have been bashed for promoting fairness products all time.

Plenty of articles on this and even memes.

I don’t know what the big deal here is

Eat what u want ..u are responsible for your health and fitness choices not someone else

No one claimed Pepsi, coke, chips are healthy…they endorse them as tasty snacks …it’s up to u to eat then in moderation

If they start promoting protein powders, berries, oats, millets and healthy things how many will actually go and buy them?

How big are the sales of epigamia yogurt as compared to Cadbury chocolates? or millet noodles (yes they have that) as compared to Maggie noodles ?
tasty things sell…so companies will focus on marketing those …u can’t claim they are ruining ur health when the majority of the public is buying the so called unhealthy product …u can make a choice to not buy it that’s all

also celebs have to be more strict with their diets as compared to us …if I eat pizza and coke and show up to work the next day with a few pimples on my face and looking bloated, no one cares …if they do, they need to have an entire army of people change stuff to make them look good (costume designer has to change measurements, camera man has to change angles and lighting)

It makes sense why they are neurotic abt what they eat …u don’t need to be so chill

Without that can they make money and have achievement, success?
