Someone in the comments on the YouTube site wrote that Gauri is "the epitome of grace and dignity" and I agree.

I think, I feel, that both support each other in a way that respects the person the other is...and I also have the feeling that they gave/give this to their children, too.

She started first with a partnership in interior design with Suzanne, if I remember right, in the year when she also openly supported MNIK by watching it with Suhana in a theatre.

I also remember that she had then started an own shop the year the government changed...I still have the photos from this time.

SRK said that she had not a formal training in interior design, but I know that she had a trained knowledge about fashion design and made costumes for SRK's first movies (and I think, her family had to do with clothes business wise)

Nope....u are wrong here...She is not SRK's child.....She has been with SRK since she was 14 and SRK was a NOBODY...she has been through the ups and downs.....she was his support system......SRK has acknowledged several times how he looked up to Gauri in his hard times.......SRK became THE SRK.....much later after Gauri dated him and married him......she knows enough people and knows this industry to survive on her own...but of course SRK's name helps....doesn't mean everything she has done can be over looked...Not everything can be put under the blanket statement of Nepotism......SRK's success is as much Gauri's success......she has contributed to it indirectly.

40 often is a 'turning age' for women. Aryan was 12, Suhana 10, a 3rd child hadn't happened (yet) and in Gauri's circle of friends, there are interior designers, jewelly designers, fashion designers... Gauri is a very creative women and I suppose, not only had Mannat (villa and Annexe) been got styled by her very well (and the London home and Dubai, too), she also had collected a lot of valuable things she wanted to put on the market by designing other people's homes and hotel rooms etc.

Through the SRK-boulevard project, she had got also connection to international architects (she already had worked with architects in Mumbai)...and ShahRukh would be the last to oppose her venturing in a professional use of something that Gauri has a passion for.

I had to smile when SRK said that "there is a little sense of creativity in the family"...I would say, yes, indeed...a son who plays guitar (very well), likes to write (also poetry...like his father), has a visual imagination...and a daughter who likes to play characters, writes and likes photography...and a little one who has a knack for painting and dancing and constructing things... (and I won't start to talk about Shah's and Gauri's creativity...)
