Her film with Vicky is a rom-com also under Dharma

Then she is working with Ranbir

All of this happened with Bulbul which did similar numbers-wise. Many would say Tripti's role in Qala was more challenging due to the lack of dialogue.

If a film get's critics and other filmmakers to notice you it is worth the effort. Anurag Kashyap commented on Tripti's brilliant performance both after Bulbul and Qala.

Nice thanks for showing me this. So Jogi did better than Dasvi and Monica O My Darling. Still, Diljit who got so much critical acclaim isn't nominated at IIFA. But Abhishek was winning awards. This has me pissed.

Tripti is a good actress . But still is mostly known by Netflix subscribers. While everyone in India knows who Alia bhatt is. You need more than just Netflix subscribers to make someone a star.

One day Tripti might become Alia toughest competitor. Even beat her. But today is not that day.

Bottom line is Alia is mediocre. Tripti's acting has just shown Hindi audiences what an actual actor does.

Alia is insecure even of Deepika. As soon as peeps started talking about Qala, this kind of plant was to be expected. This is coming from Alia. No question.
