I am of the unpopular opinion here I guess. I have never found Navya pretty 😆 She is a plain Jane.
navy looks exactly like shweta but she looks prettier? how
Navya is really well spoken. There is calmness in her demeanor.
Shweta is just like his mother. Belittling her own daughter publicly for no reason.

It’s kinda sad that Shweta is raising her daughter with the same mindset that Jaya raised her with. Even Navya complained somewhere how when guests come over it’s she who is expected to look after them and not her brother. And to think, Shweta kinda seemed fed up with Jaya’s constant nagging in KWK and cribbed about her favouring AB jr over her. Misogyny runs deep in this family and the women contribute equally to it.
I have usually noticed women internalise patriarchy a lot and are often told by others to train or teach their daughters a certain way or else they would suffer in life or be termed bad moms or their daughter would be spoiled.
Most moms may complain of misogyny and what they suffered themselves and may even claim they will not let happen to their girls what happened to them but they end up repeating similar patterns and begin bashing and bullying own girls under pressure of men, older women and patriarchal society.
Sure, she’s well spoken. I’d bloody well hope so given her education. But she was bland af.
Looks great in stills, awful in motion. Good thing she decided to not be an actress. Zero screen presence

I second this. I will claim to being subjected to it , sadly. The number of times I have heard the women in my family say the most patriarchal things is astounding. It drove me insane. I would always think “ you went through all of this and thought it was okay ? “ But yes, they were conditioned to think that it’s all fine to be treated horribly by men. Will not get into more details as it’s personal. What iv noticed is that they do realise their shortcomings as and when they get older but by then it’s too late to undo the damage inflicted on young girls in the family.
