Aamir films generally do well overseas since Lagaan and also break records overseas since time of 3 Idiots.

In US and China markets his films are all record breakers, highest grossing Indian films there are his.

So it is not surprise if LSC does well abroad.

Khans and Hrithik always do great abroad. Even their underperformers do well abroad. In global markets there is still no other Indian star who could challenge records of Khans.
