Yes, because he’s playing Lal Singh Chaddha.
He tells strangers on a train his story and that’s why he’s the narrator.

I get criticizing his acting. But criticizing why he’s the narrator indicates a lack of understanding the concept and story.

I'm one of the few that didn't like Forrest gump. But amir's PK type acting in the trailer makes matters even worse.

I'm surprised though that amir's film is not getting a good opening.

Honestly it seems as if the public is rejecting everything bollywood. Inflation is sky high, people are still recovering from income loss due to covid. The movie has to look very interesting for people to shell out money

Aamir should have focused more on acting aspect of the movie than doing PR tactics (going to war Memorial, overtly speaking in hindi during interview s, and dressing up in promotions like a simple guy which he is not) People are smart now!!

I am shocked at the opening..i mean even thugs had everything going against it but it opened at 50..there is also national holiday..which makes it all the more alarming..what is happening..?

Audience is the king!!! They know which movie is good and worth the money!! Post covid people have become careful about money also, they don't wanna spent it on shitty films!!

Inflation, less income etc sab bahane hai..same public spends money on BB2 n Sooryavanshi..restaurants have a crowd waiting to get in...tourist places r full, festival shopping goes on in full swing..
