First to ye problem is not only about Bollywood sab ka movies flop aur disaster ho raha hai kuch movies hai which are working to Bollywood specific reasons don't stand kyonki abhi Telugu industry me bhi 4-5 hit hi ayi hai

Hollywood ki bhi movies expectations se kam earn kar raha hai

Problem hai kaha par?

1) Too much content - Every Friday koi movie release ho raha hai aur movie going audience utna hai nahi jo har Friday ko movie dekhne Jaye, fir every other day koi new movie streaming platform pe a raha hai to logo ke paas motivation hi nahi hai to get out of their house to watch a movie and spend money on expensive snacks.

KGF and RRR are exceptions not a norm

2) Budget - Sab big budget movie are failing kyonki utna recovery nahi ho raha, abhi aage directors aur producers jo careless ho gaye hai with budget should keep it tight kyonki bade se bada actor bhi 100 crore ka recovery nahi kar pa raha hai

Mai starting se soch raha tha ki jab COVID ke baad theaters open honge to ye box office ka rat race band ho jayega people will change lekin conditions aur change ko accept karne ke bajaye sirf ye industry hai jo box office failures ko celebrate Kari

Bollywood me jo ye mai dekha wo kisi aur industry me nahi dekha, jab sabke sath ye ho raha hai to the least you can do is control your negative PR Kyonki pura industry has to coexist, koi akele kaise survive karega

Kisi trade site ko paisa dekar hit aur average ka verdict milne se face saving to ho jayegi lekin reality bhi kuch hai ab sab kuch BOI tak limited nahi hai

Kionki if they go to theatres, wahan Gabbar aa jayega.

1st reason is OTT. People have switched their preference.

2nd similar content, similar faces over decade.

Kuch naya nahi karna.

People learnt to live without movies and found other forms of entertainment all thanks to COVID.

Peoples' tastes have changed thanks to the content available on OTT

Another reason is that most movies which are releasing now were actually conceived and partly produced in pre COVID era.

They should stop all the movies which have not yet started their production work and re evaluate their viability and scrap them if necessary.

They should start looking for stories with new concept and keep the production costs low.

Even Megastars and superstars are giving record breaking flops. That means star value of the actors alone is not ebough for the movies to work either in theaters and OTT platforms.

Ideas and execution of the same in the story and performances by the actors are the key factors.

RRR and KGF budget was dictated by the story and not the other way round.Radheshyam was a spectcular flop despite lavish production values because the story was not told well.

If only Saif got Vedha’s role. Same case of wrong casting which doobed Shamshera.

Some of the folks in the BW should stop indulging in negative PR about the co-stars. This is the biggest factor which is bringing them down.

Why can’t everyone compete fair and square instead of trying to pull others down?

Maybe the movies being released are just terrible? Bollywood is looking for excuses, but the audience is showing up for what they find interesting.

Bad storytelling, starting with writing.

All this OTT stuff is a side effect of bad writing. People discovered they can watch well-told stories on OTT, instead.

Bollywood needs to rethink its formula. I don't want to wish anyone bad, but they won't rethink it until a few high-profile failures happen in sequence fo multiple people.
