For whatever reason these two producers have chosen to release these movies within 6 weeks and overlap the promotions. Maybe it is a risky promotional tactic. Maybe it’s the aftereffect of the pandemic and neither producer was able to find any other good dates. But I don’t think they’ve done it out of sheer lack of concern for Ranbir and his career or livelihood. He’s not vulnerable as much as he’s just caught in an unfortunate scheduling conflict. The main culprit here is Dharma for constantly distracting from Shamshera promotions by releasing something Brahmstra related. But to be fair they are very desperate for Brahmstra to do well. They’ve spent an insane amount of money on it, postponed it many many times, and careers and reputations are at stake here. Not to mention the risk of massive potential financial loss if not for Dharma than for the distributors.

I do agree with your last point. It does seem like Dharma’s marketing has completely taken over Ranbir’s PR. But I’m sure it’s happening with Ranbir’s permission and authority. Ranbir is not some passive shrinking violet.

The Astaras by Ayan was enough.Waiting for another 5 days wont affect the opening of Brahma.The promotions started years back with visit to Benares and huge events,trailer ,song promo and Kjo using it for the wedding.how much more promotions do you need at this point?

I agree that they should have waited after Shamshera’s release not just to release Kesarya but also the Astras video. I just don’t believe that it’s being done as a means to undermine Ranbir. I think Dharma is doing what they feel is the right thing to do for Brahmstra.

No she knew about the baby. She probably just didn’t know that Alia had announced it that morning. I have seen the video you are talking about and when the paps tell her congratulations on becoming a Dadi her immediate reaction is to blush and smile. I think her going into “pehle Shamshera … “ might have been because she was still under the impression that the pregnancy was supposed to be a secret so she wanted to change the subject.

Ranbir and Alia had a shotgun wedding. There’s no way Neetu didn’t know why her son’s big destination wedding plans in December of 2022 suddenly changed to a balcony wedding in the middle of super busy work schedules for both of them. Everyone who attended that wedding knew. People on Reddit knew by may 😆. Bahurani just forgot to give her sasumaa a heads up about her announcement 😆
