She was just 19 when that unfortunate incident happened we could not get to see her real talent as would have happened if she were alive in the full decade of 1990s

And No offence but I mean how do you know if she had talent? Frankly speaking, majority of 90s heroine are average actress with the exception of kajol, tabu, manisha types.

These actresses got to play variety of roles divya was just 15 or 16 when she entered south film industry where the movies were hit later on in bollywood she was just for around 2 to 3 years

And somewhere she was immature to get married at such a young age may be she was in lot of hurry to do all things at one time

And as I said earlier we were not able to see her full talent as she passed away

Yeah well you are right, she was pretty average in acting department but I don't think people have ever hailed her as a great actress or something, they just fawn over her for being super cute/pretty and feel bad that she had to die at such a young age, I mean the girl was barely 20 and doing so well for herself, it's a pity she had to go the way she did.

She was pretty cute that's what made her popular

Even when I see her movies they became hit not of her but overall package like deewana shola aur shabnam

To know her real talent she would have to had a good powerful script director and role

She was very popular because of a complete talent package with very cute face. She worked in Bollywood for almost 3 years and established herself very well. She could have improved a lot over the years in acting.

Op might be imagining DB singing saat Samundar for OP

Now a days we get actresses with no screen presence, no grace, very less talent. Divya Bharti was a complete package. She had charm to woo the audience. She was just 3 year old in the indusrty and just 19. Who knows how far she would have gone if her life wasn't cut short due to that tragic incident. With age, maturity and experience everything changes.

I have always said this too. Her acting was nowhere near the level of Sridevi or Madhuri.

Even Juhi was a far better performer, but Divya was ironically offered these films first (Darr, Kartavya, Radha Ka Sangam).

We have to bear in mind, she was just 19 years old and had 2-3 years experience of acting. If we compare the likes of Raveena, Urmila, Manisha, Karisma then they were kind've on par with each other, maybe Divya had a slight edge over them, she certainly had a spark. But Kajol and Tabu were better performers at the same stage in their careers.

She could have improved leaps and bounds... but alas overall I think her acting was nothing to rave about.
