If I am not mistaken, you live in USA right? RRR will be re releasing on June 1st for one night in USA, Dont miss the theater experience for this one

I suppose it's just wrong choice of words from my side. I was calling the scenes and the acts of the character misogynistic in nature. It doesn't make the whole character a misogynist.

Misogyny doesn't define Ram or even Pushpa, but their acts can still be considered problematic.

I'm not equating Pushpa and Ram as equally misogynistic either. Since it's obvious Pushpa had much more such type of scenes. Even in thread title I said I am especially talking about Pushpa.

Yup, Any scene can be problematic in isolation but the RRR scene was not with the location and scenes which followed, Jenny was near her house and Ram suggested she could ask Bheema for a ride, she was not disrespected, they maintained a decent distance from her, they didn't touch her and there was no coercion from their side, the director never tried to portray Ram as a misogynist therefore it wasn't a part of his character arc, The scene was played as for laughs not because Jenny was uncomfortable, the funny part was Bheema's innocence

On the other hand, Pushpa is a criminal, he is an antihero like Rocky Bhai from KGF whereas Ram was a grey character for most part of the film, he was never an anti-hero

Why talk only about Pushpa and Baahubali Jr?

Here both Srivalli and Avanthika both did not protest. It's not that they are weak. They could have fought back which they both are very well capable of but they didn't fight them.

That also need to betaken into consideration.

Just because they didn't touch or disrespected Jenny, doesn't make it okay to puncture a woman's vehicle. They still manipulated her to sit on Bheem's bike.

Ram didn't know about Bheem's ulterior motive behind wanting to talk to Jenny. He just thought Bheem likes Jenny and wants to talk to her. A guy puncturing a girl's tire only because he likes her, manipulating her talk to him and sit on his bike is not something which is okay to do.

The guy can still not be a complete sleazebag with that act, he can still stay in his boundaries by not touching or disrespecting her.

Doesn't make it okay to manipulate her. Pretty sure such an act would come under harassment under law.

I just think you are using these terms like "misogyny" "Harassment" "Manipulation" loosely and ultimately doing disservice to the importance of it, anyone can watch that scene and form their own opinion, to each their own

Bheem stalking Jenny is crime

Bheem hunting is crime

Rama going against the establishment is treason

The movie had Rama and Bheema killing people, I am pretty sure what they did with Scott's bungalow will amount to terror attack and will land them in prison with capital punishment

Ajay Devgn training people against establishment is crime

Sita harboring fugitive is a crime

There wasn't a single scene which wouldn't land every character in prison if viewed in isolation without following the storyline

Point being, a scene has a narrative, the narrative in this particular scene was far from the angle you are adding to it.
