Hahaha you are seriously reaching right now, you know that right? This is why no one takes your so called advocacy against homophobia serious. It’s just an excuse for you to defend your favorite.

Ok mate. Whatever helps to sleep peacefully.

Personally I dont think so. If something is going on between them they should be honest or criticism is bound to follow. An thats on them only

then they should watch how kjo portrayed rishi in student of the year hating on his crush wife. These people arent very innocent

My favorite Salman Khan for some reason had a party some years ago. All men and they took shirtless photos. For years it’s been used as fodder for jokes. They allude to him and shera. It’s just jokes. People do it and will continue to do it.

LGBTQ are not from Mars. They're human like the rest of us. Same virtues and same moral failings. Some are great, most are decent most of the time, some are bad. Like heterosexuals.

And yeah, 10% of men are supposed to be gay on average. Which would mean there are about 70 million gay men in India and about the same number of lesbians. They are as Indian, as Hindu/muslim/christian/sikh/atheist, as rich/poor/middle class, as smart/dumb/lazy/hardworking as Indians who are straight

really thank you, i didnt realize that, the thing is most human are wolf in human clothing.. From far they do look like human being..

And another thing I dont mince my word, if i wanted to refer to them as aliens, i would have call them that..

Right. And *these people* was not about passive-aggressive otherizing.

In case you seriously didn't understand:

"These Indians* are so...

"These black men" are so...

"These lower-caste women" are so...

Try to complete any of those sentences without feeling like a bigot.

These Indians are not so innocent.. There i completed it and i did not feel like a bigot

If you feel something then that is your problem

Very well said 👏

I acknowledged that I was wrong about bringing heterosexuality as an example. I shouldn’t have that done that. But I stand by everything else I said in my original post. I never made the argument of “everybody does it” therefor it’s OK. I said, and I still say, that making jokes about Ayan’s years long love for Ranbir is entirely about him being in love for years and not moving on. I have not seen anyone bringing any homophobic tropes into the discussion here on IF in recent times.

it's not about just using heterosexuality as an example but don't you think even mocking someone's feelings for a person is itself so wrong? Whatever it is, it's very personal to him. Moving or or not, it's entirely one's choice as long as it's not having a diverse affect on the person they like or harming anyone else how does it matter? Beside, no one knows, no matter how much people talk about "open secret" what is Ayan is to Ranbir. Just think about them being really just best friend & time n again reading such unwanted comment, being a butt of people's joke ; must not be a really good feeling. Same for DP. She is married now. She sure can be hating on RK in secret or still have fondness towards him, it's for her to deal with. Just because she is is a public figure, it doesn't mean we can just trash talk about her all we want.

We, as individuals may not be able to change the entire society but if we don't participate in it & can make even one person to not do it, that itself would be a big change.
