I honestly felt there was more buzz for Kat and Vicky's wedding. People on twitter were like it seems like Salman Khan is getting married. I think the reason for that was it happened right after Udham Singh. So there was already buzz around Vicky. Even though he clearly didn't do it to promote any film. And Kat well is a superstar.

Well tbh I think even deepika couldn't have thought of a better promotion for their upcoming movie... 😳😛

yeah I didn't know the shaadi was today either .... I thought it was the 18th or sth, but that's probably cuz taxes are due on the 18th in the US and I've been scrambling last minute to put together my documents. So every year I have to file my taxes, I'm gonna remember that Ranbir and Alia got married around then!

there really was no buzz... in fact, they went about it the way shotgun weddings go usually .... I don't think she's pregnant so I'm guessing that Ranbir's bucket list comprised of "get married before 40."

The buzz picked up for it in the last 2-3 days, in other words in the middle of the wedding celebrations. Before that nada. And one reason for that is because they cried wolf too much about this wedding over the last two years. Even some analyst was tweeting about it being last December in November of last year and it even started picking up esteem until Katrina’s wedding news broke. Read into that what you well, but it makes Alia and Ranbir and their PR look kind of childish and immature’ish IMO. So this time no one believed because why would you 🤷🏽‍♀️.

Yes this wedding definitely has a shotgun wedding vibe to it. No I don’t think she’s pregnant either. But it is a very rushed last minute put together wedding. And if it’s not and has been in the making for a while then the wedding planner, stylist, etc need to all be fired.

yeah exactly. in fact, I'm pretty sure Alia-Deepika's KWK episode also hinted at both their weddings being around the corner, not just Deepika's, and that was in 2018? Well, Deepika married soon after while they totally over-pakaoed people with Ranbir-Alia's ever elusive wedding till they just didn't care anymore.

Well, my point here is. I think RK Aloo's wedding has been in the making ever since Brahamashtra the film has been in the making. That has also been forever, right?

I don't have much to say on Brahmastra ..... it's been in the works for over five years now and that's overkill. All I know is that the first time Ranbir actually looked at Alia like she isn't a piece of log was during that promotion a couple months back ..... I believe it was around the same time Kat/Vicky got married. Anyways, I'm outta this thread now cuz I've had my fill of talking smack. 😆
