One thing is talking about it and one thing is buying /generating the business ! I wouldn't buy a phone or any phone for the matter the fact of that Alia bhat advertises it. The phones featured are so eye catching that it doesn't need a tiny celebrity promoting it 😆 BTS ka ad hi India me chala lete toh kaam ban jata

Most people have a basic level understanding of how advertising works.

They don't rely on people going "OMG Alia Bhatt is in this new ad, I HAVE to buy the products" (although there very well may be people like this)

- BUT the majority reason is brand + product awareness. Subliminal messaging. Getting people talking about an ad/product. The more people see something, the more we talk about it, the more it's in our subconscious minds. The next time we think about buying a particular kind of product, our minds will eventually automatically go to the product we were talking/thinking about.

That is why there is a saying that goes something like > THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS BAD PUBLICITY

So while some of y'all be sitting there mocking some celebrity endorsement, not only are they getting paid millions, but you are also contributing to their income by tweeting, posting, disliking, e-n-g-a-g-i-n-g with their output 👍🏼

Alia is actually quite popular outside the forum. In fact I hear NO ONE talking about Hrithik, Aishwarya, Deepika etc. in real life 😂

You see newbie actresses post their endorsements everyday on IG..The pages would be full here,if every announcement was made! There was one on mattresses too right?

Bvlgari(PC),Dolce& Gabbana(HR) were recent big announcements with nice photoshoots.. Someting to look at and comment.

Agreed ! There is indeed no such thing called bad publicity ! Glad we contributed to Alia's income by engaging. Hope the company would check revenue-per-clicks generated from Alia's social media feeds and save on the crores of rupees by terminating it at the earliest :P
