Is Babul Supriyo underrated? / Comparisons with Kumar Sanu

Babul Supriyo is a talented singer but somehow he didn't quite become very popular.

Why do you think this was the case?

Some say this is because he sounds too much like Kumar Sanu and began his playback singing career when Sanu was still very popular.

Also, whose voice do you prefer between the two?

They did sound similar! I liked both but I prefer Kumar Sanu 😎

Originally thought this was Kumar Sanu and not Babul Supriyo. They do sound quite similar.

Babul Supriyo is a non nasal and enhanced version of Kumar Sanu

But there is a song in Faana which babul sang , orginally was a non released compostion by Udit Alka from hum tum "Yaara yaara main toh" , i always felt that being amir khan film Jatin Lalit should have made Chanda Chamke song udit sing it ...
