Will Kriti Sanon be able to pull off Sita?

I dont think so.

I have nothing against her, kinda indifferent- she’s okay to me but i dont think she can pull of mythological/historical roles.

Though only yardstick i have is the movie she did with Arjun Kapoor. Imo she didnt look authentic for that period. There’s something too glam about her.

(Acting wise for me she ranges from okay to good)

Last time she did a periodical movie was Panipat and that didn't turn out well. Maybe if there was a teaser, people would have something to say about the topic ... otherwise there's nothing exciting about the news by itself.

As an actress maybe. I don't want to be offensive but as a character Sita was pretty one dimensional. So there isn't much required from her in acting department and she anyway is a decent actress so it won't be a problem for her. But I have said this before and will say it again that she looks too urban to play a mythological character. For sure she is pretty but she lacks that aura and femininity to play a goddess.

She has no screen presence, her dialog delivery borders on Tik-Tok-er-ish and she can't act

Character of Sita needs to be played by an actress with strong screen presence, it will be a disaster worse than Shraddha with Prabhas

To me she looks like more of a side heroine material, like sister of the hero sort of characters. There is nothing eye catching about her. I am sorry for sounding so crude, but naah ; Sita to door ki baat she can't pull off any ordinary, worldly beauty / personna part properly.

Kriti Sanon's acting talent, looks, glamour, persona, flair and grace is a mix of Deepika and Katrina. This woman is a super duper star in the making.

Every film she does, she's basically the highlight. She outshines her heroes and her contemporaries with ease. Alia should be very nervous right now.

Kriti will nail Sita.

No . Simply because she has a boy's face. She looks like a 17 yr old guy. While I assume the public would want to see a more delicate looking Sita. Kriti looks more like Ram. Alia has the face for it but I'm afraid a bit too short . Maybe I'm overthinking Sita in terms of appearance.
