Errm...you do realize that these kind of skits are always scripted and the participants too are always informed beforehand?

I don't know about internal politics and I don't think his movies were snatched but many were shelved. Regardless of everything Industry and certain gossip mongers being called out was very much needed. Not that it lead to any change but if those people felt even a bit guilty for what happened it's a good thing. I remember how post Dhoni and his breakup with Ankita he was made into this intolerant, rude, arrogant and perverted guy who was too big for his shoes. Mocked for his looks, called undeserving, straight up being sidelined during promotions and not even getting credit for success of his movie.

More than anything a fu*king "me too" rumor when the moment was at its peak and everyone was being cancelled left right and center. Imagine how helpless one would feel to find himself stuck in that muck only on basis of few blinds and baseless reports from alleged "sources"... Yes no one is here to be blamed but that " Bi polar boy"

Agree to him being a probable patient of a mental illness which however can also be externally triggered.

And thank you for acknowledging that false me-too allegation is a huge allegation. But One doesn't have to be bipolar to lose sleep over the possibility of losing everything he earned for an offense he didn't even commit. Coming from a humble background, being tagged as a skirt chaser and then a probable rapist is enough to push anyone to the edge. Not saying this is what it caused it but why not take it into consideration so that no-other person faces it?

Sushant or anyone else. It is extremely important to call out blinds, false accusations, and deliberate attempts of ruining someone's career. A mental illness is not an important ingredient to break someone. A healthy hearty mind and heart too have different immunity to shocks and hurts.

He got over his seven year old relationship with Ankita. Was okay after his split with kriti. His career was doing fine too. So no, a regular breakup didn't lead to elongated depressive period.

Then everything falls apart, gradually. Calling someone unworthy, undeserving, absolutely shunning him down in a movie he gave his everything, shredding is character into pieces with metoo and final nail in the coffin probably his split with sara, making him believe all those things.

What killed him, is a different thing but If one is agreeing to his mental health deterioration, it is equally important to call out the probable contributing factors.

It's important to acknowledge he was wronged. Doesn't mean others are not, but now is the time to accept that it could lead to something as disastrous as this.

Don't be sorry. I'm all for a respectful factual discussion. Just not wild theories propagated by a certain section(not you).

I'm in no way suggesting that a MeToo allegation would not affect a person not suffering from a mental disorder. I'm merely suggesting that something so negative would have a much severe impact on someone like Sushant. Emotions are magnified ten folds, positive or negative.

The major difference between Sara & Kriti/Ankita is that Sara dumped Sushant while Sushant broke up with the latter two. There was no sense of worthlessness, betrayal and other negative emotions(ten folds) that might come with being dumped in those cases.

There were many other tell tale signs like sleeping a lot or not sleeping at all, talking extremely fast sometimes incoherently etc etc. Considering his confession, don't think his mental illness is debatable IMO

As for Bollywood, its dirty & territorial and Sushant wasn't accepted into the KJo gang but they aren't the only ones that matter. He was Adi Chopra's blue eyed boy for a while until Paani happened. Ekta Kapoor loved him. He worked with many big production houses. You don't make it this big without strong support especially as an outsider.

I agree that the dirty PR companies like Kwan etc...unethical journalists need to be held accountable. They can get away with anything in the guise of "blinds". These dirty games need to be stopped because they do have a devastating effect on everyone's psyches, mentally healthy or not.

I understand where you are coming from and I am just extending your thoughts on the basis that there is also a possibility that all these things, cumulative, could have triggered his issue. He may or may not be born with it but after following him extremely closely (ofcourse through internet), he did come across as an extremely emotional person. And like you said, it doesn't require a bipolar mind to be shaken from everything thrown upon him.

I don't question that recording where he confessed him being a bipolar. Nor do I question the diagnosis. I, however do find it sceptical about availability of those recordings, unless calls are anyway traceable. That's a different story which I won't talk about.

All I am saying is, if one is pointing at family for being ignorant, which could be true, it is equally important to point at all the things that transpired which could have pushed him.

That's all.

What I believe about his death has nothing to do with his mental health. I hope you understand that I am trying to just call out things that either were cause or catalyst so that atleast no other Sushant is lost because at the end of the day, this boy was dreamer and wanted to live and shine and today he is no more and probably had a painful last days, physically and mentally.

Absolutely. I get you.

The MeToo allegation + the blinds + a Broken relationship can have a devastating effect on Anyone, mentally healthy or not.

I also agree with all those playing these dirty politics should be exposed and shamed.

I just feel instead of focusing on Bollywood(he was certainly wronged) or a relationship, we should focus on the mental health issue of it more, the role a family and professionals can play in mitigating this disaster. Because professional rivalries will continue, relationships will keep breaking but with mental health awareness we can make sure the troubled youth are better equipped. There's no more Sushants.

I believe that recording was made available through a Wealth Management Firm. Those firms record everything especially contractually binding talks. Ever called a company and hear an automated message, all calls are recorded for training purposes? Same thing.

Anyways its always nice to talk to someone open with their discussions. Usually it gets pretty heated with the Warriors. So bad that my W/L level is 80% now. Can't even reply to chat messages. One more strike and I'm out. 😆

Always good to hear different takes.

If you are easily replacable as an actor, your collegues should not be blamed. The actor who is always gets replaced does not brings anything special to the project. There are many people who have same skill who can replace each other.

This is the saddest thing. People can hate him all they want for his life or movie choices but that won't change the fact that he is dead and if not for the dead, atleast maintain some sort of dignity for yourself by not talking mean about the departed.

It isn't too hard to be empathetic.
