I don't think anyone accepts women's statements blindly except certain sections on social media. In real world its a different ball game. Even in movie industry most of the metoo accused are back to work despite all the hoopla. Yes there might be some for whom the social media outrage transcends and affects real life, but by and large no affect on men of women's accusations

Also about the dowry law, a case withdrawn or an acquittal for lack of evidence is not the same as fake allegations. The number of dowry related crimes far far exceed the misuse of them. And now the supreme court has introduced several changes. There is no automatic arrest and fir of husband and his family on complaint.

I'm not trivializing men's issues. But every law is abused. Yet the only law people want to remove are the ones that give some protection to women.

I am seeing the contrast of celebrities' reaction here. How they reacted towards allegations on Nana Patekar by Tanushree and now.

All woke people stood for Tanushree, even through circumstantial evidences were favourable to Nana.

I feel outsider v/s insider has been further classified. Outside my whatsapp group and in my whatsapp groups. Probably Nana does not fit in their group.

Even the common woke people's reaction are different when Kalki supports Anurag Kashyap and when Hritik's ex supported him in Kangana's case. Why doesn't one have the same yardstick?

Whats baffling is how all the A listers and nepo products have been silent throughout on all this and letting the outsiders fight the battles.. Either their own Or for bollywood

👏. Dowry law is indeed misused by some small percentage. But very much needed for a huge percentage.

Have these woke celebrities ever commented or protested, if a person who abuses these laws belong to their inner circle?

Karishma Kapoor filed dowri harassment case on her husband to settle scores.

Then they remained silent. That time, it was "their personal matter". If so, even if this girl is making this allegation to settle her personal scores, oneshould stay away because "it is their personal matter".

This selective hypocrisy of staying mute if the words are not favourable to the ones in their group, being vocal only when the person is outside their group is what is being called out.

Otherwise, I have nothing against/for the girl, who made this accusation. I am not judging anyone here.

There always someone accusing someone else. But, Kangu is the only one who openly admitted her affairs and her sleeping for roles.
